The most uncharitable reading of Trump's comment is more like "Hillary could be assassinated" than "someone should go and assassinate Hillary", but I doubt that's going to stop anyone from acting like he personally put out a contract on her.

This is the same gaffe Sharron Angle made when she was running against Harry Reid. She was resoundingly criticized for it then and Trump should be now.

There is nothing wrong with what Sharon Angle said there, the purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to oppose a tyrannical government.

Didn't it ever occurred to you that a lot of peoples dislike Trump not from supposedly "dishonest" media but from the way he act and the things he say? Smart peoples tend to dislike Trump after all.

Tyrannical government is exactly what you'd get with him, so it'd be ironically interesting if all the gun-toting rednecks suddenly formed an uprising against him... not that that precludes his convincing everyone to commit suicide, since it's what Jim Jones did at least.
