When you say brainwashing what you really mean to say is I suffer from mind control through coercive persuasion that was done to me through unethical manipulative methods. Nothing could be further from the truth. I was taught God’s requirements from the Bible, and then I made the choice to follow Jehovah's standards and to dedicate my life to doing Jehovah's will. It is a conscious decision.

This guy is a worse than I'm, no more bashing. JWs have a terrible approach and it turns people off to the bible, you can't hammer religion down a person's throat, people should have a choice for which they want to follow, this is called Religious Liberty.

I don't like how JWs do their work, its just prolonging for the return of Jesus, causing people to be resistant to God's truth.

kxmode enough is enough, with the bible bashing, the Holy Bible needs more respect, its counterproductive.

I do believe in the Holy Bible but putting it down peoples throats is not right it's the Holy Spirit that does the changing not you, me or anyone else.

Exactly.

I know it hurts, but this is exactly what I believe concerning most (if not all) seriously religious people.

Their only error there is in not keeping track of who has already said "No!" Rather, they just keep coming and coming while keeping records of each evangelistic attempt.

Mormons (LDS) understand that, and they do the opposite. Mormons maintain a "no call" list so they do not appear to be "hammering religion down a person's throat", so to speak.

PLEASE distinguish - it is important - between serious religious people and inudiciouly conscientious exponents of proselyte counting religions. Not all religions are like that [very rare across history though now common in many parts], and not all religious peole even of those groups are like that. The ones who are not in your face tend to be less noticeable, like here the NON-strident atheists.
