It is a good opition. But america treats healthcare like a business. Which is wrong.
I don't think that can be completely avoided here. I can't say I'm bothered by the fact that it's a business but rather that it's such a greedy and arrogant business. I can't think of any other business that charges those kinds of prices for their services AND acts like they're doing the customers a favor.
It was their own collective greed that created a vacuum for the government intervention and meddling that they were trying to avoid.
