Cracker Barrel has resumed selling Duck Dynasty products after customer outcry.
They should have just left it on the shelf to begin with.

What the hell? Why do these restaurants insert themselves into the drama? Why can't they just stfu and serve the food. Just leave the merchandise out there dang who cares if it's there? No, instead CB has to go all out drama just to get some attention. It's so stupid. What place does a restaurant have in this kind of bs? NONE! They serve food and in this case, sell merchandise so they need to seriously stfu and serve up some grits.

Lemme guess? Cracker Barrel is open for Christmas dinner and they want people to come buy their stuff? Hardly any gays go there no how. Who are they kidding? Why don't they just say to their customers "Come to Cracker Barrel and buy your Duck Dynasty crap for Christmas!" Instead they manipulate them. It's
sad.

I've only ate there once.It wasn't even that good.I've had better food at little Ma and Pa diners.
I always thought of it as a cheesy place that city people eat in to feel country. With names like "sawmill breakfast."Really.Anyone ordering it ever work at a mill?Doubtful.
Cracker Barrel will probably run some special,10% off if you show up on camp.
At least it will live up to its name,it will be full of crackers.

I went to Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving and it was pretty good. I had my doubts but they pulled it out of the hat considering there were hundreds of people. The crowd in their little store was Black Friday sized so I didn't really linger too long but I did get to see some of the Duck Dynasty merchandise. Usually I just ignore and roll my eyes because I don't go for dudes with that much hair on their faces.
I just have a personal pet peeve with any restaurant that sticks its nose in morality unless it's the kind of morality that keeps the place clean and the food fresh and pure. It is not an eating establishment's place to manipulate the public but they will because it gets them much more $$$. It's just business for them .

It would be nice if these people on this show would sit back and do some quiet reflecting as to why their show is losing ratings. They are ugly. They are dirty looking. You can't see their faces through all that hair. People like the cute little ducks. That's what this is really about. Why not do what it takes to get the ratings instead of these cheap, petty manipulations? Either that or face reality. Too ugly for television. A flash in the pan. Ducks are cuter. Too bad so sad.

I have Duck Dynasty on right now and have had it on for several hours this evening for the first time. I still think it's silly and generally boring but any TV show that can have so many people wringing their hands I want to have on the TV just because. I noticed that they do say grace before dinner which is ,of course, taboo to the left. Maybe that's the actual root cause of their anguish and this loose charge of homophobia, or whatever, is just an excuse to begin the campaign.
Whatever, but I haven't heard anything homophobic or racist on that show.

Our country was founded on religious freedom. We aren't meant to limit the freedom of religion to just the particular sects of people who came here. My religion doesn't say a damn word about gay people. Not one word.
I have nothing against religious freedom, but the United States was founded on principles consistent with Christianity. I don't want a hypocritical, power-mad theocracy, either, but a completely secularized society would make what Theodore Roosevelt described into a frightening reality...

Even if these people were on the far left and screamed it to the world I would not watch Duck Dynasty just because of that. If you are a Duck Dynasty fan, fine, but it is so fake to start watching a show only because they manipulate you with some political bs. It's just a cheap ploy to try and rescue a show that doesn't have enough going for it. I suspect the real reason this show is flailing about is due to the fact there are virtually no attractive people in it and it's boring. Change that and you might save it. Oh, and be nice to the ducks.

Yeah, based on the ten commandments. You can also find them in the Hebrew Scriptures, so how would you feel about a Jewish nation rather than a Christian one? Same basic moral right and wrong. Same place the ten commandments came from even.

Christianity was born from ancient Judaism, but at the same time Orthodox Jews deny whats prophesied in their own documents (see Isaiah 53). Like I said earlier, I'm all for people worshiping as they see fit; that's what freedom's about. However, most activists in the U.S. restrict the freedoms of Christians in favor of others, which goes completely against the Free Exercise Clause. There's no law banning any kind of religious influence in the political arena, only keeping Congress from declaring any of them legally mandatory.

If people don't want to worship Christ, that's fine from a legal standpoint, because the Constitution supports their right in that regard. But it also supports my right to declare my faith both publicly and privately as well, without fear of government oppression in any form.

It's all a charade, A&E "suspended" Phil Robertson but continue to run marathons of the show and anybody that has been to Walmart recently will see their merchandise prominently displayed. Clearly it hasn't hurt their business. It's a manufactured controversy with manufactured outrage, does anybody really care?

Notice they cleverly use the verb suspended? It is a ploy.

Normal people do not care and most probably aren't even aware of all this.
Probably, most that have heard about this it has only made them bigger fans of the show and the merchandise.
If anything, this manufactured outrage campaign will boost ratings and increase $ale$.

Why yes, that's the whole point, Raptor, and it's because people fall for this bs instead of insisting on quality, One look at these guys and you know all this about them anyway. They are redneck hunters living in the Bible belt it doesn't take much to figure it out. They are probably not into the gay lifestyle.

I watched this show once and found it beyond boring. There was nothing interesting about it. There was pretty much no script. The women were dolled up but the men looked bad.

I watched it before any of this controversy, too. I bet there are others like me who turned over, watched it once or twice, found it dull, so didn't bother with it again, much to their dismay.

For real.

The network showcases the guy for being a swampbilly character. And then they pretend to slap him on the wrist for being that same swampbilly character.

Makes no sense.

But makes lotsa dollars.

^^ Haha, I was just thinking, when is that guy from Call of The Wildman going to pull the anti gay/race card ? Maybe he still has enough watchers, he doesn't need to yet? I know of one person who will totally worship him if he does even though now, when I bring up that show, he doesn't appear to be interested in it at all. He is one of these types who will not think critically about these antics which drives me crazy because I can see through it. Even if you don't like the gay lifestyle, and you have the right not to, please, don't fall for this bs. It's just bs and nothing more.
