Being racist is saying offensive things about a race. Identifying or naming a race is not racist.
White is not a race. Polish, Serbian, Romanian, Czech, German, French, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Irish, Italian, Spaniard, Portuguese, Dutch, Scottish, and Swiss are all 'races' that have mainly white skinned bloodlines. Even a good amount of asian people have white skin.
Black skinned people include the majority of people form Africa, African-Americans, and some aboriginal peoples.
There is no such thing as yellow people, or red people (red haird but not red skinned). I find it stupid we even call people white or black.
My race isn't white, my people called them selves Dutch, Algonquin Native Americans, Germans, and Central Eurpeans. There isn't a country called White or Blanco is there? When I have to sign a paper with a checkbox for race, and the only one that applies is 'White', it pisses me off. I shouldn't have to be the race of effing 'White'. African foreign nationals, African Americans, and Australian Aborigines shouldn't have to be the race of 'Black'. People from Asia get a checkbox that says Asian, but we don't get a North American checkbox? Sounds stupid.
My race isn't 'White'. I have white skin, there is a big difference. I am white, but that is not my race. My race is Dutch, German, Central European, and Native American, born in the US of A. If there was one word, I'd say Dutch Native American.
