Well, let's see. You accused me of being a drunk, and you demeaned my writing of fiction, and accused me in the past of everything from class envy, to being "on the dole," as if that's a reason to demean anyone. Sounds like you are pretty rude, after all.
The bird is just compensating for what he doesn't have by being peckish.lol You have a lovely family and are a happy, content person.I bet he's wet his beak in the beer suds more than a few times.
Yes, that is all true. Thank you for reminding me of that.

You are most welcome cousin.lol
Found out I do have a relation from the same region as your ancestors. My 36th great grandfather was Gerold Von Vinzgau,Graf im Kraichgauer und Anglachagu.
Genealogy has become a special interest. All the history is just fascinating.

I accused you of posting while drunk, something you have admitted to on more than one occasion.

Exhibit B:

Whatever. I'm drunk now, so I could care less. May Krampus visit you on Christmas!
Exhibit C:

This one's a bonus because you admit to selling plasma to pay for it. If I wanted to be a real douchebag I could write a few scathing paragraphs on that alone. This is obviously not a personal attack but merely easily finding what YOU have said about yourself with a link to where you said it. It took only a few minutes to do it while I'm at work doing other stuff, too.
So what's it paying? More than the price of plasma I should hope.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
Truthful and with irrefutable evidence. Can you do the same for your charges against me?
Take your time.

All you demonstrated is that you are in fact rude.
As for class envy - no, I don't envy what the wealthy have. But I do resent that their voice carries more weight than mine simply because they have more money. That aint envy; it's wanting a reckoning.
As for donating plasma - the wife of a college professor had been in line donating. Times are hard for anyone and everyone. That you even thought of taking a shot at me for donating plasma in return for cash for my time is douchbaggery at it's worst.
And my writing is my art. My wife believed in me as a writer even when I didn't. That - and my family - is off limits.

If finding evidence is rude than I'm guilty as charged.
More like just plain bitterness. Don't wait for the money talks rule to ever go away.
Now you're calling me a douchebag for pointing out what you said in an earlier thread and provided a link to it.
I've donated blood several times for free.
If I were going to get paid for it when times are hard (and I'd never rule that possibility out) it damn sure wouldn't be to buy booze like you admitted to. You can't back out of that now no matter how hard you try and spin it.
Then where can I find your work on Amazon or Books-a-Million?
It may come as a surprise to you but sometimes write, too. However, I'd never call myself a writer even to myself without at least a serious game plan to be published.
Hitler thought himself an artist, too.
Who said anything about your family?
Or did you just toss that in there hoping one of your allies would read and just assume I've "attacked" your family somewhere without actually verifying it and rush to your defense?

Whether you realize it or not, every writer, long before they were ever published, has thought of themselves as writers.
And why would I deny using some of my plasma money to by beer? I've also used it to buy groceries and gas.
And I'm to be compared to Hitler now? Getting a bit desperate, aren't we? Isn't bringing up comparisons to Hitler a sign of hyperbolic clutching at straws?

Whatever writing I do is in addition to a paying job and there lies the difference.
Much as I love my beer it's not really a staple.
Strawman much?

And what writing do you do? Ayn Rand fan fiction? Dreamy Rand Paul/Paul Ryan true romances?
Who says beer is a staple?
And other than Iron Age pagans, who the hell is going to build a giant humanoid figure made of straw (in order to stuff human sacrifices inside, before setting aflame)?

My stuff is post-apocalyptic guerilla warfare and survival in the first few years after a global pandemic.
You obviously do if you used your plasma money for it.
You're basically admitting your sold blood to pay for a fix. Really, do you want me to tell you what I think about that?
I'm supposed to believe you don't know what a strawman fallacy is?

Even though you called my horror fiction trash, I will prove I'm the bigger man, and say that I think the stuff you write sounds cool.
And you're just being rude for implying I'm an addict looking for a fix. Trust me, plenty of donors use their cash for beer money. How is that something bad?
Of course I know what a straw man is. But don't you think that thing made of hay bails looks more than a little like the wickerman cages Iron Age Celts used to stuff full of human sacrifices, and set on fire?

What happened to Trump Panic?
The past low energy losers and Party hacks have come out to denounce the leading Republican.
Pasty faced empty suits claim ownership of the Republican Brand.
Donors have put up a lot of money over lost elections, looking forward to an eventual win and they becoming Ambassador to some vacation paradise. Four to eight years with a Black Passport, and Legal Immunity.
A Trump win will overthrow everything America stands for. He has no respect for tradition!
The Real Social Leaders, hundreds of millions, control of Media, had no effect.
If Donations do not turn into appointed offices, who would give money to a political party?
This will destroy the Two Party System!
Go Trump! Go Trump! Go Trump!
I called horror involving drug induced cannibalism in general trashy. If you're going to insist on taking it as a personal insult then be my guest.
You'd find it disturbing. The people that suffer the most after the actual pandemic has run its course and there is that inevitable long dark period without rule of law are those that rely too much on government and the infrastructure we now take for granted.
I wasn't going to bother to look for the perfect straw man image for you. A straw man is a straw man for the purposes of my point, which was to point out your obvious straw man fallacy.

Yes, I take it as a personal insult.
Yes, I love dark. I write horror, remember?
Go there if you like. I think that would say more about you than me.

Of course you do.
If I want horror I'll read Stephen King. So far I've only felt motivated to read one of his novels and that would be From a Buick 8.
It would be against the terms of use for me to go there.

I don't get the big deal on buying a few beers with plasma money. If the bills are paid, foods in the cupboard it's no big deal.Sometimes I buy beer with some of my SSI money, after I've taken care of the important stuff.
I've tried to cover that by making homemade wine but it hasn't been a very good fruit year the last few years. One year I made 15 gallons, which lasted me a long time and I had enough to sell a few bottles and to gift some to friends.
I'm optimistic this will be a good year,I now have a pack of dogs that will keep the raccoons from carrying off all my fruit.Im investing in a fruit press and going to make gallons of hard cider with my pears this year.I have two huge trees that will produce bushels if all goes well, not to forget a huge muscadine vine and all the wild fruit.
If there ever is some post apocalyptic scene in my lifetime I'm set for it.My own water supply, pack of big dogs, guns and know how to grow food.Ill drink hard cider and watch Rome burn.Shoot zombies off the front porch.
If someone is truly worried about an event like that happening then you will need to know more than how to shoot a rifle, you better know what plants can heal and what wild foods are edible.Better have some hand tools and know how to use them.Moonshine will bring a good price, the high proof stuff can be used for fuel.Better figure out how to run a still.
