Occupy Movement Will Now Be DEMOCRACY SPRING
I understand your fears.
I don't think most people in America would adhere to Soros' ideas. People take too much pride in their country to want a "One World Order." Imagine America adopting the Euro! Don't you believe that most people wouldn't want that--whether liberal or conservative?
However, I feel we should cooperate with other nations, and be part of the international community. I don't believe we should be isolationalist, and not work with other nations.
I also understand your discontent with the way government is run these days. But there are no quick answers.
We are a nation of many peoples, with many viewpoints. That fact that there are many sorts of people, and that they are allowed to express their many viewpoints, is what makes America great. We should not lose sight of that.
If America becomes only interested in themselves, it will become less of a nation. It will lose prestige in the world. And we will not be able to uphold our interests as well as we do now.

Maybe what it needs is a smaller, more libertarian form of government in which the State isn't going all out to control everything.
Our own government is way too big and excessive, which leads to many opportunities for corruption. We have cabinet members and other leaders of integrity who are trying to remove our corrupt president, who is devastating our economy like a bull in a china shop.
A rich family dynasty has also been shown to be behind our leader's questionable actions, to further their interests and get tenders and kickbacks.

Why does Trump say irresponsible things like threatening to build a wall between the US and Mexico? How can he hope to win the Hispanic vote with such statements?
I really don't think Hillary cares either: she seems to be a "limo liberal". Sanders is more genuine and passionate. She has a misplaced sense of entitlement with little to back it up. What a poor choice the US will have if it comes to Hillary vs Donald!
We need a wall. A big one. We have an illegal immigrant problem that will be sure to bring down this country. We can't afford all those people. Plus all the drugs coming up from Mexico with the drug cartels. I think the problem with illegals is totally out of hand already and won't be able to be solved. Is there any other country that let's illegals come in and then gives them all the benefits the US does? A country can't survive doing that.
Who's going to pick that salad you ate? The growers won't pay a wage that attracts Americans. Big companies bring in the illegal to work,Tysons has been found guilty of this.So you blame the poor person offered the job?Obviously they aren't lazy,or they wouldn't want it. Place the blame where it should lie,on the backs of the companies that look for cheap labor to exploit. It Americans didn't want the drugs then there would be no profit for the cartels, and now more people OD and get addicted off scripts that the doctors give them.Oxy,Percocet,hydros,Xanax.If rich people didn't pay cash under the table to their illegal maid, nanny, gardener, pool boy, carpenter, etc then people wouldn't cross the borders for those jobs. They could hire someone from a service that is a documented citizen, but they don't.
What benefits, they can't get any without documents and they don't have those. No food stamps,no Medicaid, nothing.
By the way,the retired nurse I mentioned is the child of Mexican migrant fruit workers. Her family worked their ass off in the hot fields so their daughter could have an education, become a citizen, and have a better life.

You people all just troll each other, it's kind of ridiculous and I hope none of you actually get worked up over the awful things you say to each other for no other purpose than to stick it the other person.
The campaign against Trump is made up a select group of billionaires who think they can control our democracy from the shadows to do their bidding, people like George Soros but many others as well. I had a whole list of the people earlier behind all these groups and as I say a lot follow the money, I'll post the list once I see it again but what we have is not an organic outpouring of opposition and that's evidenced by Trump's dominance at the polls.

Immigrants happen to make our nation great.
There is nothing wrong with metered LEGAL immigration
Mass immigration both legal and illegal for the purpose of flooding our labor markets and making the rich richer? I have a problem with it.

I agree with the nurse that we Aspies talk about interesting stuff. And I reckon if we were in control the world including the US wouldn't be in the state it's in!
Yeah, my mom's on disability, and I get a disability check from the VA.
Can't say I care whether or not someone thinks we "deserve it" or not.
I would like to discuss the disability issue a little more, especially since I'm in Healthcare. I'm not here to make people feel guilty about being on it. I would honestly like to know why people are on disability.
Those of you who are using the program, what is the reason that you are on it? And those who are using it for Asperger's, what symptoms do you have that are disabling? After all, I am on an Aspie website to learn more about Asperger's.
No matter what we told you,it wouldn't be enough for you.Or you won't believe us.Its a spectrum disorder, some people function better than others.
People that stim, have frequent meltdowns when stressed, sensory issues, verbal issues are going to have a hard time working many places. It would be nice if there were more work at home options for people.I tried to get one of these jobs but they never had an opening.
There's depression, and not just the feeling blue kind. The Sylvia Plath kind that just knocks your knees out from under you and it's like climbing Everest to get a glass of water from the sink.Spend some time on the mental ward and just see how many of those folks could hold a steady job.
For some the medication may not work,or it could have terrible side effects.I was on Depakote for several years and it raised my chloresterol to a dangerously high level and I developed vertigo. If I just leaned over a bit I would fall on the ground. No Depakote for me.Some of the side effects of the medication can make it hard for people to find a job. There is the drowsiness, slurring of speech and some of the anti-psychotics have the nasty side effect of twitches and uncontrolled muscle movement that could be permanent.Try getting a job with a bad twitch, they will think you are a tweaker.
Just like anxiety, you have it.But you can drive and leave your house and some with severe anxiety can't do that.
They can't even walk out the door of their own home. You can't compare your milder form to another person with crippling anxiety
I don't think IBS qualifies people for disability.Never heard of anyone getting it for that.
You can't stay on unemployment forever, and you can't blame people for signing up when there job they had for years moves overseas. That happened here with the Levis plant. Some of the people were just a few years from retiring when the company pulled the rug out from them.
They don't just hand you a disability check,it can take years for it to get approved. It usually has to go to a judge who will review the medical records and make a decision.
It does seem cruel to come on this site and complain about people on disability when you don't have Aspergers.
If I remember right ,you are a Christian.Jesus admonished his followers to not judge others.
First of all it would depend on the severity of symptoms. And it's funny you judge my anxiety as "mild". How do you really know that I don't have Asperger's? Do you know I do whatever I can to avoid leaving my house? I do all my clothes shopping online, everything else comes from Amazon and now I have my groceries delivered. My hair is almost down to my butt because I get close to a panic attack sitting in that chair unable to escape. I go to my job because I have to,but I work the night shift because I can't take all the noise and people on the day shift. I don't have many friends. I have gastrointestinal disorders (which a lot of Aspies have). I get my social needs taken care of with forums. I went out with my Ma last night to the Olive Garden. I made sure we got a booth or a corner seat with me facing away from everybody. I almost had to get up and leave right in the middle of dinner because I came close to having a panic attack due to the table behind me being way too noisy. They finally left. I can't handle noise. That's why I don't like noisy kids or barking dogs, etc. I even have to have ear plugs in when I take a test.
My dad has a lot of Aspie traits - never had friends, no eye contact, drank a lot to control his anxiety. However, he was able to get a Bachelors degree in business and worked a desk job for the government. He didn't have to converse with people and stayed to himself - that's why it worked for him. He never believed in taking meds so he just lived through it. He's had major depressions and tried suicide (just like some Aspies) which almost worked. He's on psychotic meds now. My point is there are people who could have Asperger's (maybe even me) and they go undiagnosed but still have to make it in life.
Having involuntary movements would be a reason for not being able to hold down a job. Depression can be treated. A lot of mental disorders can be treated. My neighbor with fibromyalgia doesn't have any problems partying so why should she be on disability and not have to work? My other neighbor says she works at JCPenneys styling salon. So she is able to hold down a job afterall.

What are they going to do? Let the land go dry? Maybe Monsanto shouldn't be so rich, maybe there are too many friggin farms in California anyways? They will pay more because they have to pay more, what other choice do they have? They're not cutting a slim profit, they'll deal. These companies will take advantage of system which has been created exactly for them to exploit, nothing will ever change until you turn off the spigot of illegal immigration as well as the abuses in our work programs. Rich people are the ones that want illegal immigration since they can insulate themselves against all it's negative side effects while profiting mightily. If these companies go broke because they depend on illegal labor then good.

The Bilderberg's are another group in on it. The Bush's are in that group. Bush was also in Skull and Bones. They're all in it together and they are The Elites. Thats why I say all of what's happening is bigger than just the Republican and Democrat parties. The Rhino Republicans are in this mess and can't be trusted. Most people don't know anything about these groups.

Behind every news story is someone with a vested interest in preventing change, and close inspection of their deal.
I am an Economic Republican. If we are spending more than twice as much and only getting half the care as Canada, the Medical Profession should on Parole for Fraud.
On closer inspection, they are not getting the money. A great deal of what we spend is going to Insurance Companies. We pay a lot more for Drugs. The Medical Supply Chain is regulated by Government, and those who take any Public Funds can only use approved suppliers. Often this is State Level, so limiting supply ads to the cost, as they can charge more in a captive market.
Medical Care also includes State and Federal Welfare. Treatments have to be approved by desk jockeys pushing paper, who have no training or understanding of medical need. It is still added to the Medical Cost.
In Canada, this would be an in house Medical Decision. Drug prices are set allowing the companies a reasonable profit, and I would imagine a National Market for Medical Supply.
This hardly sounds like Socialism to me, much less the Communist threat we have been warned of when all medical personal will flee and there will be no health care.
It seems like freeing the medical profession from outside forces. In a choice between Government, Insurance, Suppliers, and the Medical Profession, I want a Doctor who has been approved by the Medical Profession.
Remember, In Star Trek, only the Doctor can relieve the Captain of Command, by force if needed.
Just because the Government pays for a service, they should not be allowed to have uneducated people regulate it who have their own economic interests.
It worked for Canada, and everyone else who have Medical Centered Medical Services.

I'll come out and say that I think the illegal Mexicans are some of the hardest workers. I would gladly trade them for some of these Americans who feel like they don't have to work and should get everything given to them on a silver platter. I also bet that they would take their citizenship very seriously unlike some of the people in America who would give up their citizenship just because they didn't get who they wanted in the Whitehouse.

You are an ignorant ass. Depression can't always be treated. Medications don't work for some people. In order to work you have to have someone willing to pay you. Many people are on disability because they have tried working and simply get fired over and over again because they can't function. It seems like you want these people to simply die. If so, f**k you. You are a piece of s**t.
Reported.
I'm not going to be talked to like that. I didn't talk to you in that manner and I expect the same respect.

Hi, I'm dealing with it. Personal attacks are not OK and he has been sent a warning. We can still disagree while remaining civil to one another.

I have IBS,so I know all about that.My doc ordered a colonoscopy to make sure I didn't have cancer. You said yourself that you didn't have Aspergers, and if you can leave your house then your anxiety isn't as bad as others.Sure you can treat mental illness with medication,I take medication and I can tell you that for some people it does not remove all the problems that come with it.People with Aspergers can be very sensitive to medications, some of the meds I took made me sick.I spent six months in a mental hospital when I was younger and I saw plenty of people medicated that sure as hell wouldn't be able to hold down a job.Sometimes it only fixes it where you can do enough to get by,but nothing else.I don't know about fibromyalgia, but I suppose for some people it could be severe enough to warrant a disability check. You don't just walk in and say you have a disabling condition, you have to have tons of medical proof. Its nowhere as easy as you seem to think it is.It takes years.
Seems like you would understand the sensory issues effecting working conditions, you say you have them.Well, picture the volume being turned up much louder for some of us.Noises, smells, motion to the point where you can't go into a restaurant and eat.I can't drive in heavy traffic becuse of my sensory issues,I also cannot drive at night becuse the light from oncoming headlights blinds me,I have to always wear sunglasses when driving becuse the glare from the sun can blind me.
You can't expect other people to function like you, everyone is different.
You remind me of a little kid throwing a tantrum becuse another kid got a bigger piece of cake than you.

We caused this. We have been using Mexicans for 100 years for cheap labor. Most of the Southwest was Mexico at one point, we stole it at gunpoint. We benefit economically from this labor, and now you think you can just turn your back on them? They have just as much right to be here as anyone. We made them illegal on purpose because it's inconvenient to grant them the rights that typical Americans enjoy. Just like it was inconvenient to have organized labor, or pay wages to slaves. We make the drugs come here with our absurd drug laws. We lowered wages with our absurd trade policies. We cause the Great Recession when we left Wall Street to rape and pillage the middle class with impunity. People are legitimately mad at Trump's plans because it represents doubling down on the greed and stupidity that led to now. No doubt it appeals to the ignorant, but it's like he just woke up yesterday. All the lessons of history just go down the memory hole.
