Wafers?

"Wafers" are never mentioned in the Bible.

At least not the King James according to the concordance.

In fact no "W" word before "wag" is used in the KJ.

So...

Let's go with "wages" (as in "wages of sin").

Since I have the Bible Grandma gave me in front of me already cracked open to the Concordance I noticed that there NO (zero) words in the Bible starting with X.

So from now on we all can skip X guilt free. :D

This round I am gonna skip Y as well (though there are Y words in it).

And do "Z"

Zealot

("Zealot" and words derived from it like "zealots" and "zealotry" are apparently the only Z words in the Bible).

Xerxes is in the Bible---though not under Xerxes in the King James Version.

"Wafer" is used in Exodus 29:23, and in two other places. The Bible is the Bible---whether it be King James or Good News.

Oooh! Ooohh! Call on me call on me (waving hand frantically)

Xerxes!! ! King of Persia! Esther's husband! AKA Ahasuerus.

(Damn I was an annoying kid) (still am)

:-)

edit in: ratsy tatsy. Kraftiekortie beats me in a photo finish :-)

edit in again: so moving right along - Absalom, Absalom, my son my son. (Although I could go with Ahasuerus and be a REALLY annoying kid).

He was a character in a TV show called "Welcome Back Kotter." He played a high school student. He used to go "Oooh Oooh" when he raised his hand.

Dives (the rich man in the parable of the rich man and the beggar Lazarus).

@Kraftiekortie: Oh! I didn't watch that show much. I just had someone in my elementary school classes who really did that. Not me, honestly.
