Frankly I have NEVER trusted the American news because it has always been so politically biased. Every time we are at war with a country they paint everybody in that country out to be evil and subhuman. They have done this with Japan, Germany, Russia, Veitnam, North Korea, Cuba, and now they are currently doing it with the Middle East. I'm sorry but it sickens me.

Yes, it is a sick game the US plays, that's why I feel our government is out of control. They use media tactics to try to convince people that we always have a war that needs to be faught. My uncle was in the Vietnam war, he told me to not trust anything they report on what's going on in wars, he said the majority of the reports are incorrect, they hide their evil deeds from us. Collateral damage, a leaked video comes out showing an apache helicopter trying to get the permission to fire on middle eastern media reporters, hovering in their sight for a few minutes, they are even glancing at the helicopter, I watched the video, it was very easy to tell they were no threat and that the guy had a camera not a rocket launcher, no shots were ever fired at the helicopter, they ended up in the open, in a group talking while the helicopter is still trying to get permission to fire, then he gets the ok and murders them. Anyone who just thinks that was an accident is blind to reality. The most shocking thing to me is someone tries to expose it, so the get locked up and demonized and criticized. Chris Manning., I do believe that was his name. When people try to speak out about corruption within our governmet, they always seem to go from creditable to not creditable. Like they were creditable their whole life, up till the point that they try to expose something important.

I'm glad you finally admitted that they do lie, why defend them until the point that I was planning to show you though. Don't you see that as wrong? You shouldn't back something so strongly that you don't believe yourself. They do it alot more than you think, it's like trusting someone that you know will lie to you. You never know when they will lie, so for every story they produce, without digging in to each story to see if they are lieing then you never know they aren't. It's not always possible to find the truth either. And they are rarely held accountable when caught blatantly lieing. I don't see that as right, especially when our tax money is forcibly taken from us to fund them.

Well, I'm really glad I don't have to go on my exposure quest, my neck really hurts today. I am very surprised at how civil this discussion has been, the community here is great! In other places, people would just try to make me out to be some kind of racist bigot, that's the current trend, people just trying to speak logic being attacked. I'm the complete opposite of a bigot, I try to just see things for what they are and I truly believe all people should have equal rights. That's what scares me about the diversity trend, if you are truly just seeking a proportionally diverse crowd in employment or schools, that is not possible to obtain without discrimination which is supposed to be what people are against.

I'm afraid I honestly don't remember ever defending the US to you? I completely agree with what you said and have felt this way about my own country for many years. I'm usually the first to critisize what my country does and I hate the fact that most Americans like to hide their heads in the sand and ignore the evil stuff that their country has done to other countries. They're too influenced by an unreliable news system that stretches the truth plus Hollywood movies and TV shows that stereotype everything to the point of convincing American viewers that it's how the real world really is.

And yeah I know what it's like to call Americans out on their BS and be ostracized for it, but I also know what it's like to be viewed with contempt just for being an American. :(
