In support of Israel.
I can't connect with this statement. People do not have the luxury of philosophy in life and death decisions.
People have been taking over lands and homes in war forever. In the civil war in the US, they took over homes, lived in them, used up the resources, etc. In the Revolutionary War the British took over homes, lived in them, used up the resources. If you fought, you died. If you protested, you died. If you went with the flow, maybe you lived, maybe you didn't.
I can't connect with any of you on this. I think you honestly believe that being outraged or indignant changes the outcome. We are expendable. And eventually everyone's time is up. People have grown so arrogant that they actually believe they can and should ward off extinction. When there's evidence all over the planet of extinct civilizations. It just so happens that you are watching one play out in real time. If the earth lasts that long, someone will dig up potsherds and test stomach contents of Palestinians and come up with some elaborate reason why they went the way of other ancient civilizations. When in reality, it was that they were simply too proud and too dumb to move.

I know that most who have responded don't get where I'm coming from and that's okay. I am a person who believes in God and science. I believe we were created to evolve.
When the Jews were driven out of the promised land for the last time, they were told to flee. They were told that if they stayed and fought, they would all be slaughtered. They moved and they survived. Until Israel was restored and they would never have to flee again. That time has come. There is nothing anyone will be able to do about it. The good thing about this is that you can be present and if I am wrong, I'll be right here and you can confront me with it.
The Jews and Palestinians (Philistines) are old enemies. There won't be any diplomatic solution.

I was angry after fighting all night on the BBC. I created this thread as a way to continue that feeling.

I think I understand what your asking, I am outraged that pro-palestinians will not admit that they think Israel has no right to be anywhere, yes. If they were on any other continent, the sentiment would be the same.

JEWS HAVE THE RIGHT TO EXIST! In Israel!
You must tone this down when you're less angry because you're targeting a particular religion. It's inappropriate to refer to a group of people as 'locusts".
I'm not disagreeing that Israel has a right to keep their small state, as they are far more tolerant than some of the states around them - progressive and supportive of green energy. It's a remarkable nation and should be able to live in peace with it's Palestinian neighbour.
I wouldn't call bulldozing Palestinian homes to build Jewish only cities on top "tolerant". I wouldn't call 52% of Israeli Jews agreeing that "African migrants are a cancer" to their society "tolerant".
What was the behavior that warranted the African migrants being called a cancer, John? Or, do you believe that being alive is reason enough to be welcomed into the bosom of a foreign country?
They are the wrong race. Israelis think it will destroy their ethnic make up.
The wrong race, or the wrong number John? How big is Israel? How many THOUSANDS of African refugees descended on them? With NO means to house or support themselves. Half were sent away, half were kept. And not because they changed color. Which is it John, more land or less people? You can't take in more refugees unless you have more room.
Both. I don't disagree with stopping a flood. But Palestinians should have the right to return or a just settlement. You don't seem to have a problem with Jewish immigrants flooding in from across the world though, and Palestinian houses smashed down so new colonies can be built on top.
Jewish immigrants flooding into where? I've never know there to be enough Jews to flood in anywhere. If you are referring to the 1950 law of return, that supersedes refugees showing up on a small country today.
The JEWS won, John. Deal with it... I'll tell you what my divorce attorney told me many years ago, when I was in his office whinging about some injustice, I said "he doesn't have the right.....!" My attorney said, "he might not have the right, but he has the power."
Fact is, the Palestinians don't have anything the world wants. And they've never had anything the world wants. Israel has something the world wants, so they will keep moving forward and edging the Palestinians out.
Into Palestine. They have been since the Balfour Declaration pretty much. Israel is heading for self destruction.

Netanyahu, maybe. Israel will survive it.

Protestant-majority countries support Israel because Protestants are traditionally raised to view the Old testament very highly and to view the Jews as its main heroes (unlike Catholics and Orthodoxes who read the OT just for history; and historically didn't like the Jews much); that's why the US, UK and South Africa are the most supporting nations of Israel.

And ... https://www.nationalgeographic.com/news ... chaeology/
And
"One DNA study by Nebel found substantial genetic overlap among Israeli and Palestinian Arabs and Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews. A small but statistically significant difference was found in the Y-chromosomal haplogroup distributions of Sephardic Jews and Palestinians, but no significant differences were found between Ashkenazi Jews and Palestinians nor between the two Jewish communities, However, a highly distinct cluster was found in Palestinian haplotypes. 32% of the 143 Arab Y-chromosomes studied belonged to this "I&P Arab clade", which contained only one non-Arab chromosome, that of a Sephardic Jew. This could possibly be attributed to the geographical isolation of the Jews or to the immigration of Arab tribes in the first millennium.[147] Nebel proposed that "part, or perhaps the majority" of Muslim Palestinians descend from "local inhabitants, mainly Christians and Jews, who had converted after the Islamic conquest in the seventh century AD".[145] In a genetic study of Y-chromosomal STRs in two populations from Israel and the Palestinian Authority Area: Christian and Muslim Palestinians showed genetic differences. The majority of Palestinian Christians (31.82%) were a subclade of E1b1b, followed by G2a (11.36%), and J1 (9.09%). The majority of Palestinian Muslims were haplogroup J1 (37.82%) followed by E1b1b (19.33%), and T (5.88%). The study sample consisted of 44 Palestinian Christians and 119 Palestinian Muslims.[148]"
In a 2003 genetic study, Bedouins showed the highest rates (62.5%) of the subclade Haplogroup J-M267 among all populations tested, followed by Palestinian Arabs (38.4%), Iraqis (28.2%), Ashkenazi Jews (14.6%) and Sephardic Jews (11.9%), according to Semino et al.[149] Semitic populations, including Jews, usually possess an excess of J1 Y chromosomes compared to other populations harboring Y-haplogroup J.[149][150][151][152][153]

Conclusion: Palestinians aren't "Arab invaders" who came from Jordan and Arabia, like how the Zionist narrative claimed, the Bedouins , whom many were ironically allies with Israel's founders, are by far more pure Arabs. And the Canaanites were not: "exterminated and therefore all Lebanese, Palestinians and Syrians are Arabs ( like how this same narrative claimed too.)".
Zionists used the "the Levantines are Arabs and not Canaanites" propaganda to justify their expansion for years, and to deny the "nativeness" (sp?) of these peoples to the land.
Well if there is to be one state then I would much prefer it to be Israel, and I think most people would agree. Calling for Palestine to replace Israel is a folly, and frankly kicking the Israelis off their hand is impossible to justify.
The Israelis want peace, and at the last elections they elected a bunch of liberals and leftists and kicked out Netanyahu. The Palestinians obviously aren’t all war mongers, but they are led by Hamas who have shown no appetite for peace.
This cycle will not be broken by revenge. A one-state solution will only work if it is a multicultural society with Arabs and Jews living peacefully side by side. Israel is much closer to that utopian vision than Palestine is.

If you want to know something about the issue, ask questions. Don't make absurd statements like you know what you're talking about. Israel has different laws for non Jews. Gantz has the same views as Netanyahu. Settlements were even worse under Labor governments. It doesn't matter what it's called but the poison of Zionism has to end. Jews and Arabs lived in relative peace in Palestine, before the Zionist movement really kicked in. Where as Israel calls itself the 'Jewish state'. Would a country calling itself 'the white state' be a country for multiracialism and multiculturalism?

OK, I'll PM Kraftie if I have any questions.
