Beyond all of that, why is it that when Biden says (and there's video) things like "if you don't vote for me you ain't black", the moral crowd goes oddly silent. Only Trump's alleged gaffes are problematic.

Why?

There is no Deep State. There are just government employees whose loyalty is to the constitution rather than to a single President or party. For not swearing undying loyalty to Trump, and for reporting wrongdoing on the part of this administration, they've been demonized.
What's the problem with Steve Jobs' widow? What's the problem with Steve Jobs,? Other than that Jobs, unlike Trump, was a real billionaire and self made man.

It's not the words\actions, it's the side saying\doing them which are their problem.

If Mr Biden's supporters were confident in his ability to win, there wouldn't be a need for the selective "outrage" from his suporters - Nor the need to depend on "anonymous sources" to support claims.

Keep going, you "addressed" half. Why are Biden's many, many gaffes immaterial, while unsourced Trump rumors obviously leaked to interfere with the Election a big deal?

You mean the military industrial complex?

The "low information" voters rely on what is reported, rather than looking into source material to confirm the facts. If the media won't report on Mr Biden's gaffes and make an issue of them, what reason would the "low information" voters have to be concerned with them? Similarly, if they do report on an unsourced (or anonymously sourced) item about Mr Trump, then it must be true - why else would the media report on it.

How else would the "fine people" hoax (for example) have been able to spread so widely without those "low information" voters, after all.

Given that this is a man who sees everyone not doing his bidding as losers, I wouldn't really put this past him.

When you guys scream hoax, I know there's evidence. You're blindly typecasting the left as low information voters without examining the international narrative.

Name for me one genuine show of respect by Trump towards a living human being with whom he ever disagreed why don't you?

You make him sound like a member of the left with a request like that...

No, I'm just comparing the reality to standards of common decency.

"I will say this about Hillary: She doesn't quit. She doesn't give up. I respect that," Trump said. "I tell it like it is. She's a fighter. I disagree with much of what she's fighting for. I do disagree with her judgment in many cases. But she does fight hard, and she doesn't quit, and she doesn't give up. And I consider that to be a very good trait."

Not that I'm implying any of that is an excuse for the usual petulant rage we see from the guy, nor are either of those people exactly middle class...

I think we've swerved off topic anyway, I don't believe for a second this is a hoax. I also don't really know any good way to vet the statements of people with speech writers.

When a claim relies on "anonymous sources", whereas people who were actually there have gone on the record as stating the claim is false, the term "hoax" becomes appropriate...Or to be more accurate, describing the claim as a probable lie would be more in order.

I don't know who the hell Camille Paglia is, but she sounds like she's full of it.
Incidentally, those bureaucracies she talks about are what keeps government going. Try getting on without the "Deep State."
