Here's one way: if Ritalin works on you, you have ADHD. I was diagnosed with the inattentive ADHD; but the meds dis nothing but make me edgy and restless. And I still had all the AS symptoms folks talk about here. Later I was able to get my special ed records from elementary school which really nailed it. I've had the AS diagnosed confimed by three specialists .(I didn't want to believe it.)
