I read this little letter someone had posted on Christian Apologists' Research Ministry, a forum I'm a member of, since it's a good place to learn about different things, and be amazed and amused at some of the mental gymnastics many made. Anyway, I stumbled upon this letter. After reading through it, I discovered that the thread had been erased without explanation and the poster who posted it had been banned. A weird feature with CARM is that visitors are not allowed to even read the threads.

As I see it, it takes an exceptional level of ethics, Spirit lead discernment and Divine humility to lead a loose ministry of CARM's size, fluidity and destiny... In some regards, it has never been tried before because we've never had the internet before, and all those involved behind the scenes are to be commended as groundbreakers... This is a unique and dynamic and needed place that is both far more trivial and influential than we may argue knowingly either way...
But my respect for it has burst, and having seen far more people switch to an atheist avatar, than a Christian one over the years, my belief, my hope, that God is there, blessing the entire site through the stewardship of it's administration, has taken perhaps a fatal blow...
There is no Christian reason, no moral purpose I can see for allowing this quote to fester on a page as though Christ ordained it: "As we can read from the mangy dog hound of the homo Sodomite Dog Demon he is lost and standing deep in the piles of dung he loves to wallow in and eat for his master. He rejects the truth of God and turns to a girly sissy boy pansie false jesus who lies to him. This evil pansie sissy girly boy demon looks down into his eyes and the homo reprobate is servicing him and says, "Good my little girly boy. You are doing my bidding well. You have led young lads to me and together we will corrupt these young ones completely. Let us celebrate their damnation by jumping in Satan's dung piles and wallow and eat to our rotten hearts are overflowing with homo stench." ...To not only let it go unanswered and in no way moderated, but to actively stifle and ban those who justifiably stand up against it, be they Christian or not, is inexplicably destructive and beyond a mere abomination... Your silence has encouraged it, and your bias has paved it's way; and there is nothing of God or Christ in any of it... Believing homosexuality is a sin is one thing... That is something else completely...
...and as usually happens when sin is ignored, the bottom drops out, and the merely awful, blows up in our face into something far worse... as the freshly infamous, and same author to the above, was revealed to recently have stated, "Ask Diane if I in fact put up our TV programs on the internet... Ask Diane if in fact I have interviewed Matt and put his programs on our station... Ask Diane if in fact we have not made TV commercials advertising Matt's Faith and Reason broadcast... Ask Diane how we support CARM... Ask Diane if I did not in fact put an ad advertising for a professional web design that is able to put up TV and raido programs..."
...but in less than 48 hours, Diane made a calculated and quick sweep through the thread it appeared in ("I am transgendered"), and other boards to erase any hint that it had ever been spoken... The entire discussion vanished without the usual cursory explanation or warning not to do it again... The thread I started to essentially ASK Diane these questions (titled : "hanger18, revdaneeidson and CARM"), also disappeared, without the usual courtesy blank space left and a blurb that shows people it had been moved or deleted, and why... Also gone was the poster who published those 5 sentences,( apparently confessing something he shouldn't have), as was myself, and at least two other people I know of who were involved and aware of the discussion...all banned... actually SLAM BANNED in our faces with ridiculous, over-compensating point counts... It appears as the reaction of one who feels guilty about something, and is willing to abuse their power to cover it up... To hell with Jesus...
So, Diane, I am asking what Dane himself suggested we all do...How does Dane Eidson, aka. revdaneeidson, aka. hanger18; aka. The homopuker, support CARM? ...I ask because it appears to many of us that in as far as the forum goes, they have bought you off and are immune to having to obey the RULES you've needed to establish to maintain sanity on such a contentious site...The details don't matter and are none of my business, but the philosophy, the theology you use to justify it, is, as that is what you will teach in the name of God...
That this poster is the adult victim of child molestation, is bipolar, on medication, a possible
Reverend, a self-proclaimed former reverend, a fundamentalist's worst nightmare, a Satanist's dream, an avowed atheist as of less than six months ago... who wrote on March 16 this year, "Just to let you know my de-conversion has nothing to do with the diabolical evil acts and lies of Matt Slick and Diane Sellnar... The attacks of the Carmite fundies are confirmation religion is a ***** and its sadist servants are mentally ill." ...and then wrote this, about a week ago, "Why do I thank God for CARM when I read a lying statement posted by one of Satan's clergy members? ...First, these discussion boards are a great wonderful tool God used his anointed vessel, Matt Slick, my brother in Jesus Christ, to..." Why, Diane, do you seem to tell the mods to look the other way when an obviously unwell man who states "I get the gag and vomit reflex when I think about two homosexuals smooching on one another..." one minute, then, "Wow!! ! I am averaging over 25 posts a day! Thank you Lord!! I am enjoying it so much!! Off to bed/ Look forward to all the more later today!!" like it's a thrill for him the next? ...Please, make your case.

Unless Dane is an atheist posing as a believer to malign Christianity from within, and you know it, and he is brilliant at it, then you have harmed him by letting him dig himself in so deep again this time... Why would you do that?
I hate thinking this Diane, because I truly enjoy CARM and despite our differences, have
always respected your convictions and your service to the community...but if what seems to be going on, is anywhere near the truth, this is evil...this makes CARM itself, it's nurturing protection and willingness to use, and be used by Dane, the very demonic ploy you claim to be fighting against... It makes your ministry the sock-puppet, and as a Christian, it is my duty to expose it as the wolf pulling wool over vulnerable eyes that it is, and I will make a grand, but at this point in time, futile effort to dissolve CARM's influence where I can... But it will fit right in to the Order of the New World, and I'll be of no consequence.... Guess I'll be satisfied helping those out of the fire who God sets in my way... The strife and anger and bearing false witness and pride and Bibliolotry and judgmentalism CARM already thrives on, has at least better trained me for that...

the truth I am seeing... However, I do know I may be wrong here... I hope I am, totally misconstruing the evidence, or at least missing a good explanation somewhere... There may be some Godly reason why you encouraged such vile stuff done in your Lord's name to pollute your site in this one circumstance...as there is nothing else even close to being this pornographic that lives to see the light of day anywhere else on the forums... If it's just because it's only queers being slandered, then...well, God's gotta explain that one to you... So -I will wait until Tuesday before publishing this letter and sending it out to those who are already expecting it, already agree with it, and will forward it like the depressing warning it is. That should give you time to add any thoughts or clarifications to what I've said, maybe actually answer a question or two about the operations of CARM, since it isn't forbidden here in the realer world... if you feel so called... I sincerely hope you do, and I will happily eat my words and apologize to you and God, Dane and Matt, and all who've defended CARM, if and when...

Said administrator, Diane, said it was not allowed to make fun of, or ridicule, the American president Bush. After the election, however, Obama was fair game and Diane even used an Obama defamation as her avatar and frequently ridiculed him. I have also seen her threaten others to ban them for merely arguing with her on a topic.
Let's just say I'm glad our benevolent administrator Alex Planck is nothing like that.
