First off, no - we're not talking about Ron Paul or the Libertarian party. We're talking Scientology here. Since we're advertising them on this site, we might as well have a discussion about them.

I think my first encounter with Scientology was when I was little. I didn't know it at the time but when I walked around the city with my parents, we often passed by a specific place here in Copenhagen a lot, and I remember one time, one of my parent told me that there was a cult here. I didn't understand that at the time but when I grew older, each time I passed by that place I would wonder what the heck they meant because I hadn't noticed anything. Well, about two years ago I started finding out about Scientology -- Mainly by watching their silly nazi antics on youtube. Then came the global protests, and surprise surprise the protest was organized where my parents had told me that cult was. I guess all along I had ignored the big "SCIENTOLOGY" sign in the middle of the street. Turns out this was their European headquarters, which explains both why they move trucks and vans to block sight of the entrance every single time we protest there, and a minority of the Scientologists there speak Danish. In the beginning, they sent people out to block the protesters, literally to stand in front of them. Then they started sending their people out with placards saying we are terrorists, religious bigots and really mean! And they had their poor staff spend the hours we spent protesting handing out their own pamphlets about, once again, how we were evil terrorists!

It was about that time that I had my first run in (well, second) with an actual Scientologist, and guess what: He was batshit crazy. Crazy in the sense that he actually had the whole gestapo routine down - Stand in the person's face, don't let them speak, and just repeat "You're a criminal!". Actually what I got was "You're an amateur! You know nothing!" because I couldn't answer his questions due to him interrupting anything I tried to say... And they actually pay money to learn this, and this is not hyperbole: The first steps of Scientology deal with ignoring bull-baiting -- Something they use to try to provoke critics, protesters, and anyone they don't like. They learn how to do this by doing something called "TR0" in Scientology.

There is so much more I could say, about how they find out where their critics live and harass them, how they pay over 377,000 dollars just to learn the basic beliefs (OT3, and there are 8 OT levels total) of Scientology, but instead, I'll close with this:
