The irony is that if you study how fiction tends to develop, the monster is ofter a perversion of what the ideal is.

Christ promises eternal life and is the first fruit of the resurrection, but when you get a man-made version of that promise, you get a monster like zombies, Frankenstein's monster, Dracula, etc.

Dressing up as Jesus is possible. Dressing up as the prophet Mohamed, let's say in a London suburb, will be a bit of a problem...Unless one considered euthanasia anyway 8)

A neighbor of mine dressed up as JC. We snapped a picture and had a good laugh. The lady down the street handed out sign-up sheets for sunday school to the little ones instead of candy. We didn't find that funny.

Which is pretty weird, since Jesus resurrected the dead at least twice that I can remember from the New Testament, and he was also resurrected himself, so how did resurrection become evil?

Nobody said resurrection was evil.

I see the concept of Sweet Zombie Jesus causes the same image in your mind as mine - a zombie with a crown of thorns, shuffling down the street and moaning, "Sooouuullllssss..... sssooooouuuuullllssss...."

:)
