True. And that is the basis of dating companies like eharmony. Matching people according to demographics.
But the issue here isnt about happy ever after. It is about miscegenation. Reproduction. Genetic diversity and mixing. About the babies genetics and health, not about the parents emotional satisfaction.
And in that regard, genetic cross over wins.
Otherwise we should all marry our cousins. That route didnt do very well for the royalty of Europe.
