The eternal atheist topic

It would be ironic if George was in an afterlife right now. He would have some explaining to do. :P

Miss him terribly. :(

Do I detect "young" bitterness here?

I did like his old stuff from the 70's, but in the last decade his concerts really turned me
off, they just seemed like so much ranting and raving, its was to much to listen too.

I don't think George would shy away from a good argument, even with God.
RIP George.. you made people smile and to think, that was truly a gift.

Admittedly, if God exists, considering the state of the world, He must be far older and far more bitter than George Carlin and if He is an atheist I can accept and understand His lack of self confidence.

George was also a nice guy if you watch some of his interviews.

His stand-up persona was just sort of melodramatic... Not sure if that is quite the right word, because he wasn't typically melodramatic but melodramatic in the direction of pessimism.

I've seen clips of that "Politically Incorrect" show. It doesn't seem to be very appropriately named to me.
Have they ever invited David Duke or Louis Farrakhan on?

I've seen clips of George Carlin too. He seemed pretty interesting and entertaining, but from what I've seen he wasn't quite the anti-establishment figure so many people seem to think.
At least ... not as much as David Duke and Louis Farrakhan are.
