Neither were remarkably brilliant students. Bill Clinton was a very bright student. In fact he was a full bright.

The funny part is that you can't find any of barack hussein obama's college grades - which are rumored to be well below average. The only thing funnier than that is no one from Columbia University has any memory of him as a student.

And you can't find any of his college application forms - he is rumored to have been accepted to the schools just to keep up with foreign student quotas.

And you can't find any records of who paid his tuition - it's rumored that it was paid by a rich Saudi Arabian.

And, of course, you will never be able to find his real birth certificate because of the obvious eligibility and fraud issue. And even though the State of Hawaii says obama's 'Certification of Live Birth' should be enough to satisfy your interest, his Indonesian-born sister Maya has one too.

It would probably be too much work to track down the dozens of social security numbers the man has used. And there is no way you'll be able to find a baptism certificate - his Kenyan father was a Muslim, which makes any of the man's sons muslim for life.

It would be very interesting though if you could find any info on his passport. It is now well known that he went to Pakistan in 1981 -- at a time when Americans were not allowed to go there.

Getting bad grades in subjects as easy as poli sci and history is just plain pathetic.

Downgraded topic

Not everyone shines in theoretical courses--some are better at the practice. I am just the opposite.

Lord Obama made Harvard Law Review (a matter of public record) and was one of Lawrence Tribe fair haired boys. Whatever else is wrong with Lord Obama, lack of brains is not one of them.

1) Source for the bodled quoatation, please.
2) Obama graduated Magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. You can infer that his later grades were above average if he accomplished that.

The Misunderestimated Man: How Bush chose stupidity - Jacob Weisberg

Quote:
As the [Forty-third] president [of the United States of America] says, we misunderestimate him. He was not born stupid. He chose stupidity. Bush may look like a well-meaning dolt. On consideration, he's something far more dangerous: a dedicated fool.

I think its good to keep in mind that so many members of the entitlement upper-upper class - be they Kerry, Bush, or Gore - maladaptive fetish with wilful ignorance and academic underachievement.

So, you're strongest documentary evidence that nobody recalls Obama at Columbia is because Wayne Allyn Root - who ran against Obama's Vice-Presidential pick in 2008, offers anecdotes of the inability of his friends to remember Obama, Obama's absence from the yearbook, and his reluctance to talk about his years there?

I'm impressed.

If the Flaubert quote is taken as applied to Bush I wonder what standards of success are assumed considering the state the nation was left in as Bush left the White House.

The success of occupying the Presidential office, getting your will enacted into law, and enriching your friends.

Could any morally introspective and well-thought human being pull that off?

A president, I assume, has something to do with the welfare of the country he is elected to lead. Do you disagree with that?
