Is this really necessary? In the states, and I'm sure in a number of other places as well, Christmas has become more of a national holiday than a religious one (and even so, you're mocking the wrong religion). My sister is an atheist, and I'm seeing her tomorrow at Christmas brunch. I'm a Taoist, and I'm going to be there, too.

So please, don't try and break apart one of the great holidays because you want to feel special.

Christmas is a fat man in a red suit with white trim and a long white beard with a big bag of 'presents' and eight tiny reindeer and Rudolf is leading the pack with his red nose so bright and a Christmas tree with all the lights and decorations and presents under the tree.

ho-ho-ho Merry Christmas everyone!! :santa: :rendeer:

No its not, it is the wondrous day when god gave his only son to all of humanity so that we might be saved, we should all be thankful for this most miraculous event. I personally am going to church for most of the day to spend it in quite contemplation and give thanks to the lord.

As usual religious folks take it wrong. The subject was a light hearted show of participation. It can(and is) a happy time for unbelievers too. And the body of the text illuminated (If I may) that we dont look (or really act) different from anyone else.

So Merry Taomas, MrLoony, with no malice, really.

I suspect you'll slouch in the back wearing a leather jacket festooned with spikes and safety pins. And whats with the orange spiky hair? Save a section of pew for me.

I've always wondered - how do eight tiny reindeer move a fat guy who's that fat?

You really should get a life...

I'm spending the holiday alone but trying to make the most of this holiday season. Cheers!

Well, I'm not alone by no means. I just choose to stay at home this year. Why did this thread get so much negative feedback?
