Let's pick apart right-wing logic.
First some definitions:
- Atheism: Lack of belief in the Christian god: the three-in-one trinitarian god of Father in Heaven, the son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. This follows from the premises that there is only one true god and the Christian god is he. Since atheists do not believe in gods, it's self-evident that atheism applies to all non-Christians.
- Secularism: The promotion of a government and public sphere separate from religious/spiritual life. Since this does not explicitly promote Christianity, it is atheist by default. Freedom of religion refers to the right to pick and choose among denominations of Christianity only rather than to a godless, secular state. To assure right-wingers that you are not promoting atheism, absolutely all communications must be prefaced by "by the grace of God" (e.g., "By the grace of God, this lunch-special menu published anno domini MMXI."); this is required even of preachers lest we fear they have converted to some paganism in the morrow. Anything less than restoring the Christian church to its historic role in the state is promoting atheistic secularism at the expense of religious freedom.
From this, it follows that Islam is a cult, not a religion, whose members are atheist since they do not worship the Christian god. Any agenda that promotes secularism also promotes radical Islam due to their shared atheistic goals.

You always have an awesome way of putting these things
