Ron Paul has something of a fan club here. I don't want to take anything away from Barack Obama.

I've been listening lately to a bit of Jesse Ventura. He seems to make more sense than Ron Paul and any of the Republicans.

I have something of a soft spot for Jesse and I agree with most of what he says but some of the things he says are a little too out there sometimes. My dad was a fan of his from way back in his AWA wrestling days and followed him throughout his career including his political one. 10 years ago or so when his I Aint Got Time To Bleed autobiography came out my dad bought it on audio book and would listen to it almost every time we drove up north to my grandma's which was a 5 hour trip which we did like 2 times a month back then. I can basically recite his book word for word.

A ret*d chimp (or even an ex-pro wrestler) can make a lot more sense than most of the Republicans. And most of the Democrats too, lately. As for Ron Paul, he's a smart guy. He and Marx should sit down and debate about who has the more brilliant, completely delusional and unworkable idea.

I think that Jesse Ventura should make a run for the Republican nomination. He could beat up Ron Paul any day.
