Has anyone here seen this:
Harry Potter: Politically Correct Paganism by (Jan Markell, Wendell Amstutz, Bill Schnoebelen)

I am curious to hear how people can tie the Harry Potter mythos with any specific pagan beliefs.

Any input?

Why does Dumbledore use the expression "Merlin's beard" if he is Merlin himself?

Because "My Beard" sound to egotistical.

It is pagan, and not just a little or half, it's extremely pagan. It's about Witches and Warlocks for crying out loud.

Good point, because it doesn't give all glory to God, it's pagan, right?
I'm not sure how this works.

Harry Potter presents witchcraft as more of an alt. lifestyle, not really as a religion.

No, it presents a magical world and society that runs parallell with the normal world.

Religion hasn't even been adressed.

When you go to a library, you will find the Harry Potter series at the Fantasy section and not at the Theological section.

It has pagan aspects and gay wizard name Dumbledore which adds more fuel to its satanic origins.

A reason as to why many christians discouraged children from reading those infernal books. -_-

Harry Potter obviously makes numerous references to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. In fact, He may have even written the whole thing Himself.

This is making my head spin!

I never noticed Harry Potter slaughtering a fatted lamb, or participating in a black mass.
Nor have I seen him dedicate himself to Jesus, take communion, or celebrate any religious feasts.

I think it might be written with more of a humanist perspective, kinda like Star Trek.
