Wikileaks released the video footage of the July 2007 Baghdad airstrike that killed a number of civilians (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collateral_murder#Leaked_video_footage) and apparently there's a whole load more documents and footage, even worse than the Baghdad video, soon to be released.
Assange has gone into hiding, but I'm not exactly sure what the story is - I don't know if he's just fearful of arrest or if we know that the US government is actively hunting him. Maybe somebody who knows more about this can fill in the details, but I felt that this deserved a thread.
