Was Stieg Larsson, author of Men Who Hate Women/Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and its sequels, assassinated by right-wing political enemies? There's been some speculation that he was.

If so I'd say good riddance to bad rubbish. Too bad the inane, poorly written and overly opinionated pieces of hypocritical trash he pooped out became posthumous bestsellers.

The guy railed against the extreme right and racism. Why hate on that?

Thanks for mentioning Stieg Larsson, I am going to look for some of his books, and I will most likely enjoy reading them.

They already were bestsellers. And the triology about Lisbeth wasnt the only work he did.

And quite franky, me and millions more does not give a s**t about what you think about the series.

Which proves, like Dan Brown's DaVinci code and its ilk, that millions of people are not always right and often have poor taste.

This is a forum for discussing opinions, if you really didn't care what I thought about the series you wouldn't have responded.

I will however give Larsson props for writing a character that was about the only realistic portrayal of Asperger's in fiction to date.

Perhaps my response was coloured by your nazi "carte blanche" attitude, which makes you unworthy of the air you occupy and your opinion worth even less.

Realistic? Lisbeth is a more likely a psychopath - not an aspie. Stuff like that runs in families (look at her dad), Lack of empathy is not a ASD trait, but it is an ASPD trait, she does not respect other peoples boundaries (break into others systems) = also a an ASPD trait, she is manipulative (against her girlfriend lover amongst others) and they do mention that she has a history of violence.
