What's it like being a pacifist? What do you do if you're ever in danger or if your friends/family are in danger? Just curious. You don't have to answer, and I would be satisfied by responses from other pacifists.

I'll happily defend myself or others. I'd just prefer that such is not required. War is for fools and greedy rats. Going to war should be governed strictly by the principles of Just War Theory. On a personal level, I would prefer never to even punch anyone. If resulting from an argument or such, it means peoples' minds have proven insufficient. But preferring peace and intellectual resolution of conflict doesn't mean I won't defend myself or others.
