I don't believe in a god gene as such. I believe nearly all NT just believe what they are tought. Only Aspier are relatively immune to believing in god.
NTs are power-oriented people: Power has precedence over truth, if they don’t have money then they turn to religion for the promise of power. They usually don’t get that power that way but the collective religious people united have lots of power.
Aspiers are truth oriented people: The truth has preceedence over lies and power. Power mostly is achieved by lies. Someone has to see that 2+2=4 not 2+2= gods will, so that scientific progress can be made for all of use.
I (almost) completely disagree with you.
What you are describing is objectivity, and I know plenty of NTs who show this attribute (whether they believe in God or gods or whatever or not). Some even formulate these same ideals.
On the other hand, while logically bound, that does not inherently make us (aspies) "truth oriented people" as I've met more than a few that are just as ignorant as some NTs. Some can even be more ignorant because something in our neurology makes us bias to our own ideas -- that in combination with a limited view of the world (be it through isolation or limited education) can make for a pretty nasty combination.
I do agree with the statement that NT's are power oriented, but only in so much as the fact that our society is power oriented and NT's make up the vast majority. Otherwise, there are NT's just as prone to come to similar conclusions as we tend to -- It's really a matter of the individual, as NT's can vary greatly from person to person.
*Oh, but I do completely agree that there is no God gene.*
