According to the Bible, the Angel Gabriel appeared out of nowhere to give Mary a special message from heaven / outer space.

Was the Angel Gabriel really an alien from outer space?

Short answer: no.

Long answer: Of course not, are you even serious or are you just trying to be facetious?

I think he is an NT trying to find out just how stupid a question an aspie will take seriously.

I suppose that is a possibility. Do you think, assuming this were true, that he'd be a laymen or a psychology student?

Personally, it's more polite to assume that he's serious rather than to treat him like sand treats certain people.

The Angel Gabriel is a fictitious character.

David Brin made an interesting point on a similar topic - even if we take all these tales of alien abductions and appearances and such seriously, we can still rule out contact by intelligent alien life. They're always described as acting more like high-school dropouts on a bender, after all...

Why are extraterrestrials less serious of a topic than angels?

More so, why are Christians in this forum (You know, they supposedly believe in Angels) not immediately discounted out as trolls for testing how literally can AS people take things?

Wilford Brimley appeared out of nowhere on my TV to give me a special message about diabetes testing supplies. Was Wilford Brimley really an alien from outer space?

Maybe he's an alien with wings. Certainly several people around here have alien ideas.
