Reasonable conservative news sources?

I get most of my news from the BBC, supplemented by CNN for a more Amero-centric viewpoint. I also intermittently follow a left-wing blog/podcast called The Young Turks to see a liberal/progressive perspective on current events. I'm trying to make my news diet more "fair and balanced," so I'm now looking for a decent news site or blog that presents the news with a more right-wing perspective. The problem is, whenever I look at a site such as redstate.com, all I find are frothing lunatics. Can anyone recommend a conservative news outlet that is at least somewhat connected to reality?

CNN is a pretty conservative news outlet.

If you want something that's "American right" then there's the WSJ.

BBC News is also pretty conservative. If you want a moderate global viewpoint, the Guardian is a pretty good source.

CNN has always seemed more or less neutral to me. I've seen the occasional article that seemed to have either a conservative or liberal bent, but overall they seem to just be reporting the news.

WSJ is decent, but I was looking for something that brings an overtly right-wing perspective, the way TYT is explicitly liberal (or "progressive" as they like to call themselves).

I haven't noticed any bias in BBC coverage thus far. I haven't followed the Guardian much, but my understanding was that they were known for being quite liberal.

CNN is super biased on political and social issues. I like http://www.freerepublic.com a and http://www.newpatriotjournal.com for political news.

CNN supports the status quo, therefore they lean to the right by default. The Wall Street Journal is definitely right-leaning. If you want something that proudly wears the right-wing badge then just watch Fox news.

But if you want something more serious but conservative, there's The Economist, and the Financial Times.

When it comes to just the facts and calling it like it is, I don't think you can beat the BBC for American news. They may report UK news differently, but they do well over here.

I agree, which is why I follow them to get the facts. But I am looking to see how people across the ideological spectrum interpret the events of the day as well.
