Apparently Ayn Ran's books are becoming popular in the Indian subcontinent. How will this effect India?
http://india.nydailynews.com/newsarticle/4fc6549fc110c05879000000/india-s-unlikely-romance-with-novelist-ayn-randI have said bad things about Ayn Rand in this site before in the past but I still think there could be a positive side to this. As in the USA, it is primarily the upper-caste Indians who see in Miss Rand a justification for their power and socio-economic superiority, and the rejection of charity and altruism, in a country where 465 million people live on less than $1.25 per day.
In the USA, Miss Rand presently serves as a rallying cry for class warfare. It is the same in India.
