I'm not a Christian but found this page where you put in your DOB and it tells you who your angel is. The amazing thing is that despite the fact that I don't believe in this, everything it says explains more about me than I could imagine:

A fascinating exposure of how human ingenuity can construct almost incredible intricate nonsense. It would be amusing if so many people didn't invest it with misdirected belief.

some of us need whatever helpful angels we can get, to help us make it through this gauntlet called life on earth.

Considering that angels are as useful as either major political party in the USA I suppose one must draw comfort from whatever source one chooses to be deluded by.

i go for whichever side my bread is buttered on. it's a big cold universe all over the place, and to imagine going through this mess called life only to end up in a permanent sleep, is very off-putting to me. i gotta have something more.

Hi OP... I know you say you're not a Christian, but why do you think a Christian would believe this stuff? Angelology has little to do with any mainstream church. Reading the website it seems to be more new agey/pagan than anything else. Calling on your angel, and facing to the North, South whatever is straight out of modern wicca. Out of interest I entered my own birth date, and got an "angel" suggested which simply isn't in the Bible. The name of the "angel" was based on a poor translation of a Hebrew verb (to listen) which was used in the Bible text quoted as simply as the verb "listen", rather than as a proper noun.

I really don't mean to sound snarky, I'm just a bit puzzled, because I'm never quite sure what people think of Christianity... But conjuring angels isn't part of the deal. "Let no one who delights in false humility and the worship of angels tell you that you don't deserve a prize. Such a person, whose sinful mind fills him with arrogance, gives endless details of the visions he has seen."

I'm not sure I understood all of the comments. I decided not to post my own angel result as it matches my own personality quite well (not because I think it should) and would be giving too much away. I didn't expect anyone to post theirs either, it's your choice. Also, I noticed that it sometimes provides two results as well, so you'll just have to choose one!

i find a great many christians believe in "angels" and yet few can describe them with any amount of fidelity to the descriptions provided in the bibble. i guess "believing in magic" leads to all sorts of silly beliefs.

That's just too freaky.

I thought stuff like this was written in such a way that all of them could be applied to anyone, like horoscopes. So I thought I'd test it and put in a random date instead of my date of birth. Hey presto, it's exactly like me. Except it says it also applies to people born on........my precis date of birth!

I'm going to have nightmares now.
