The impossible cannot happen no matter how long one waits.

Though we can't really KNOW what is impossible [save for wordplay].

Do you mean to say it is impossible to know what is impossible. And that you know that?

It is impossible to construct a triangle with four vertices.

And before you say it, a tetrahedron is not a triangle.

It is impossible to wait that long.

No. Some things, given certain facts about reality, will not happen, regardless of how much time one has.

i think eventually when time and matter have deformed deteriated orformed something new there wil be a triangle constructed out of 4 sides instead of 3

Abstractions are not realities. The definition of a triangle is a three sided two dimensional geometric figure. It cannot be a triangle if it has more or less than three sides.

That would make it a rectangle!

If you had said "someone will construct a triangle with angles who's sum will be more than 180 degrees" that would be less nonsensicle (even though its just as impossible on a flat euclidean plane).
The number of sides is part of the definition of a triangle. The number of degrees of the angles is just an attribute that all triangles happened to have.

However, if anything is possible, no matter how improbable it is, it will happen given enough time.

Not necessarily. The Cosmos has a limited shelf life.

Thank you - I hoped someone would save me from pointing that out.
