Dec 25th, we celebrate the birth of a very special child, one who changed our world forever. So, here's a reminder, to avoid these mistakes in the future, get an abortion. Today, abortions are quick, easy, and low-risk. Get yours today! :P

Kala Khristuyenna -

I wonder if in that encounter between Miriam and Whoever she cried out in Aramaic - Oh God! Don't stop now!

As an atheist who enjoys baking and decorating cookies, fancying up a tree for the pleasure of kids, making and eating whatever seasonal delicacies can be bought and wrought, I have nothing against Christmas except it's strange connection to an ancient Jewish Rabbi who started quite a mess n the world. But we never thought about that in our family and merely celebrated that we still had the possibility of making it back to summer.

"Jewish Rabbi" is redundant. What other kinds of rabbis are there?

It depends on whether for instance the Karaites are being counted as Jews.

I don't know if the title is [was? have they been eliminated yet?] in use among the Samaritans and whether they would count [I as a moderate splitter in taxonomy have bno problem with it]. But I know the title is in use among some of the Aramaic speaking Christian groups.

Of course, in terms of English the norm is to restrict it to the main instances of Judaism, but would a scholar aware of theother groups so restrict it?

Well, it appears that old Ruveyn has been put in his place!

Anyway, Happy Boxing Day, all. I think that Boxing Day is much more consistent with the spirit of the PPR section than Christmas.

It is a special day to celebrate the bare-knuckled brawl that is the PPR.
