They've already banned government employees from looking at/discussing the leaked material. Which means that ANYONE in the world can see the information and freely chat about it EXCEPT people who work for the US Gov. Which of course immediately limits the damage...

This just keeps making me lol.

Not me! I'm stuck here!

Would you be willing to sponsor a refugee in the future when all of this insanity comes back to destroy this country? :help:

I find that we'r slowly losing freedom, and that order is becomeing more and more apundent.
its like a chain is being cast onto our country and we'r slowly being dragged down. soon we'll have servanclese on our computer and internet to help with pirateing, but will also slowly change into control, someone will take advantage of it, theres always that idiot who will take advantage of it, that is what I have always learned by reading the history of humanity.

also, Diddnt they try to charge the leader of Wikileaks with some "surpise" sex type thing that diddnt even happen in the US.

It may all look little and just stupid now, but in a few years if something is not done, who knows what could happen.

I've said for years that I love my country and hate my government, now more people are starting to understand both the sentiment and the distinction.

I just put it that no matter who is in control Republic or democrats, theres always something going to screw up. and while thats all going on the republic and democrats are just pointing fingers at eachother and yelling at eachother like 2 siblings going at it.

Sure. Why not? Can't marry me though for the green card though. Already in a relationship and I'm sure "her indoors" would be most upset. :P

Though it does make me wonder if we will ever see a diaspora of those wishing to live free from oppression coming back to Europe. Makes the whole revolutionary war seem like a total waste of lives.

If America becomes cowed, I will have to move either north or south depending of if Canadians are affected by this. If they are foolish enough to prevent me, leaving they will leave me no option but war.

Canada is even worse, they actually don't have freedom of speech already. In the US, I expect things to reverse course with the Tea Partiers entering the house in January. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama tries to pull something though and we end up having another impeachment proceeding.

I'll leave your comments on Canadian to deal with if they feel the need to. The next part however seems optimistic. The last seems a bit odd.

The prediction is Obama will use executive powers to try to ram stuff through and bypass congress entirely.

Eh, that would be dumb and arrogant. Foolish too I doubt he would do something like that.

Just to add, the only thing more embarrassing than the US government's reaction to Wikileaks has been the response of the US press, I can't believe some of the things being written of a fellow journalist. I wasn't a fan of the mainstream media before, but this whole affair has been the final nail in their coffin as far as I'm concerned.

You think statists would do any less?

Lieberman's reaction and statements aren't surprising but still disgusting all the same. He's just a disgusting human.
