Chemtrails or Contrails?

Doubtless the usual suspects will turn up to poo-poo it and claim they are just contrails from gas turbine exhausts, but Iam old enough to remember when Jets used to leave contrails, we used to watch them as kids, wathcing to see how long they would get before they dissappeared, and they allways disappeared.
Back then we had clear blue skys.

After 9/11 jet traffic was stopped for a week. The skies cleared completely and the average temperature of the U.S. dropped one degree F.

We have not had clear blue skies since the 1960's when most commercial flights switched over to jet engines. And the early jets not only made contrails but in takeoff and landing they spewed black smoke. The newer jets make fewer pollutants but generate more water vapor and that is what contrails are. Water vapor.

Your chem-trails are spewed by Black Helicopters delivering tin-foil hats to the FEMA death camps.

Great, the chem trail theory. Props also make con trails, archival photos of bomber formations soaring over Germany show this. I notice many chem trail sightings are in areas where multiple air routes tend to over lap and thus lead to grid-like con trail patterns. Where I live, we don't get too many flights from more then one direction, and thus the con trails are of a fairly predictable pattern. To me this explains why nobody around here gives a s**t about this lunacy. I have seen on many boards countless aviators trying to dissuade people with solid logic and fact and it will never end, they're just 'part of the problem' apparently

This theory has come through here before, and as I recall the most popular "look at this plane trailing chemicals" video turned out to be a French Fire-Fighting Aircraft. Fighting Fires.

It makes for a great Metallica Video (All Nightmare Long) but generally this theory looks like a load of rubbish.
