Statement: Daring to speak to 'strangers' or not well known people is rewarded even if not expected.
Example: If I dare to speak to someone even if I hesitate because of bad experiences with speaking to people, then I might suddenly be involved in a discussion that I like, and while beeing in the discussion I won't regret at all that I had the courage to start a conversation like that.
Personal experience: In the past when I was in a computer 'lab' at high school I took the courage to speak to a person that I didn't know but since we were sitting pretty quietly in one place pretty near each other, I found the time to think of stuff to say, so it was easier to communicate in that environment to a stranger.
