Why did God give the 10 Commandments to the foreign Pope?

According to the Vatican of Europe, God gave the 10 Commandments to the Pope to interpret correctly (since Moses lacked that ability known as infallibility).

Why did Moses give the 10 Commandments to the foreign Pope of Europe to rewrite, revise, and twist when every American knows the right to do that only comes from the White House in Washington, D.C.?

Only duly elected USA presidents beginning with Bush, Jr. and now Obama are allowed to mess with the 10 Commandments of Moses and to interpret scripture correctly, right?

Your questions border on the nonsensical.

The Vatican is not "of Europe" - it is "of the Catholic Church". There are a large number of people in Europe who are not Catholic, and couldn't care less what the Pope has to say about anything.

The Vatican has never claimed that God gave the Commandments to the Pope - that's just silly. According to the Bible, the Commandments were given to Moses; interpretation was not regarded as necessary, as He had just carved them into the stone. Catholic doctrine holds that the Pope is the heir to Peter's position as favored of Christ, and thus uniquely qualified to lead His Church. However, until 1871, while nobody actually questioned the Pope, there was no official doctrine declaring papal infallibility (starting with Pius IX). In fact, earlier popes could not have been infallible; Innocent IV sent out a bull seeking peace with the Mongols, failing to realize that in their language, the word for "peace" translated as "subjugation". The Mongols thought he was demanding their immediate surrender. It didn't work out well.

Presidents of the United States have absolutely no power to do anything with regard to religions, especially including interpreting religious doctrine. Try actually reading the Constitution of the United States sometime; it's not really all that long, and divided into short paragraphs.

America was never a "Christian nation"; the British colonies were of course subject to the Anglican Church, as the King of England was also the head of the church at the time, but they never thought of themselves as "Americans", but rather loyal British subjects. (One of the propaganda techniques used by the rebels in the Colonies was to get George III to deny that the colonists had rights under the Magna Carta, as it never mentions colonies of the Crown, and ask colonists why they had to obey a Crown that thought they weren't citizens.) Once the United States was founded, the founders sought quite consciously and openly to keep it religiously pluralistic (despite Jefferson's insistence on referring to Muslims as "Musselmen"). Some of the citizens lagged behind, as treatment of Jews and other non-Christians showed, but it was never official policy of the United States (okay, except in Congress during the 1950s - they got a little strange then - but we're trying to fix all the stuff they screwed up...).

In short, none of your questions can be answered, as each takes as a basic postulate something which is not true. (I have noticed this to be a common factor in each of your threads; perhaps you might want to do more research before starting the next one?)

You keep highlighting that the pope is foreign as if it was a bad thing, are you a xenophobe?
