When these same clerics come out and both condemn radical Islamics who do terrorist acts and willingly help the authorities locate and stop suspected terrorists, I'll take their complaints seriously.

They are playing the political correctness card.

Dark-skinned people come into a white neighborhood and commit crimes, don't be surprised that white people become suspicious of dark-skinned people. Best way to build bridges is show no tolerance for those among your kind who are doing the bad deeds. Complaining of racial profiling is just lame.

Yet again, someone uncritically equates violence committed in the name of religion with muslims and muslims alone.

Christians might want to start acknowledging the skeletons in their closets. Yours is the faith that has provided us with such sterling examples as the WBC and the IRA. Jews are not exempt either--we must acknowledge that when we support Israel and fail to hold her to account for her wrongdoing, we allow wrongs to occur in the name of faith.

This isn't about political correctness--this is about hypocrisy.

@ visagrunt

I don't recall any radical Christian Groups conducting terrorist attacks against the United States in recent years.

When some radical Christian Group flies a plane into a building to murder innocent people, then you may have a legitimate argument. Until then, you really have no business dragging in things that some Christians did about a Century or more ago. If you want to drag up the IRA, I don't recall them being particularly active anymore and I don't recall them ever carrying out an attack on US soil.

Well, there is the occasional abortion clinic bombing or killing of an abortionist. But that happens only every five to ten years. That is more of a nuisance than a menace.
