Whatever plans that God has for our lives, careers and such and reaching people.
God has mapped out our lives prior to us taking our first breath.

No matter what happens, God has mapped out your life and will preserve your life, according to his plan and will.

You just have to ignore all the bull-dust that the devil dishes out of you.

God's grace for your life is sufficient for his plan and purpose, this also applies to everyone not just Christians, this means everyone no one is singled out.

So everyone in here don't worry once you have accepted Jesus and his will he will preserve your life, until he has finished with your purpose on earth.

Life is too short to worry about news events, it gets depressing to monitor them, worry about the day at hand and do what you can do on the day and let God do the rest.

Remember God looks after you and will never forsake you.

this is another reason to dislike the guy.
why do theists constantly argue that God is a dick?

I don't believe in pre-determined destiny.

They don't argue it. It's just a logically necessary conclusion.

I have a hard time believing such things. I mean, if it's true do we really want to surrender to a god that would plan the abuse, neglect, and murder of children?

As do I. Thankfully I have never believed in God, or I might have ended up converting to Satanism for the cruel irony of my life, as a way to spite him

And by Satanism, I mean 'watch Oprah religiously and join the Oprah Book of the Month Club'

If he exists, as a full determinist I agree - he definitely has.

ie. God's hand puppet via omniscience - if he exists.

We'd feel better if he had more Q & A in his character.

I did and apparently I have something to learn through atheism as he's made me abandon him (see first quote).

Or... I can't keep the world around me from pressing its hand to a hot stove to prove that it'll get burned, or if four people would carry me over to the stove - kicking and screaming if I wished - to make me learn what I already knew. If the country crumbles and we're left second or third world with dictators - awesome. I can't control how the world works, rather just understand its as endemic to the universe as human extinction likely will be.

And, since he's mapped out our entire lives we'll ALL be seeing him (or none).

So basically; God decides everything, but we blame the bad stuff on the devil, and God loves you and looks out for you, in the sense I'm looking out for a guy who's face I am actively sledgehammering?
Thank f**k God isn't real.

I wanted to tell people that, take it or leave it.
I'm not going to spend any more time turning into a preacher in these rooms when most of the people in here are basically Atheists.

That would be wise :)
