The entire ad is stupid. More proof of that is that the person who posted it up on youtube uses the handle "BNPCrusade2" and whose profile includes "Stop the NWO". I didn't realize Scott Hall and Kevin Nash were such a threat. :lol:

Actually, the ad is not stupid, it makes a lot of sense. Being in someone's debt means they have influence over you.

You don't know how international debts work, do you? Do you realize that there are still debts owed to us from countries involved in WWII? International debt is leveraging to some extent but it most certainly is not pure influence. Especially not with the military we have (most money spent on the military of any country in the world by far).

We have a $14 trillion debt. Only ~$1 trillion of that is owed to China.

And this ad must not be banned because Ive seen it on tv.

I've seen it to, but I think it did actually get pulled off TV.

A new television ad about the U.S. national debt produced by Citizens Against Government Waste has been deemed "too controversial" by major networks including ABC, A&E and The History Channel and will not be shown on those channels. The commercial is a homage to a 1986 ad that was entitled "The Deficit Trials" that was also banned by the major networks. In 1986, the U.S. national debt was around 2 trillion dollars. Today, it is rapidly approaching 14 trillion dollars. Yeah, what type of moron is thick enough to think that people in the Communist Party of China HQ will talk about how America gave up mythic "values that made it great" and that those (grossly idealized, mythologized, and ahistorical) values would be talked about by people with a completely different mindset? Never mind the fact that China has got itself into a bit of a vicious cycle buying debt as well (if the US Dollar sinks significantly, China a lot of its comparative advantage and a lot of trade will fly back to the US).

A lot of members of the idiotic wing of the Green movement also like to spread deficit fear-mongering myths, largely because it fits with their whole "overconsumption, unsustainability" thesis.

Looks more like your source is a fraud, otherwise people would not be struggling when they max out their credit cards and the insane interest payments.
