All I can say in response to that yahoo is:

Genesis 1:28-31a wrote:
God blessed them [His first humans]; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food"; and it was so.

God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good.

Is it then "pagan" to devote one lousy day per year to celebrating the world that He gave us?

(Hey, yahoo, you don't get to reject gifts acknowledged in your own Bible just because you suspect the people carrying them...) :)

Earth day aka Vladimir Lenin's birthday. That is no coincidence!

You have to do something about the exposed third eye though.

Am I the only person who thinks "paganism" is a useless, overly general, theoretical construct when it comes to analyzing pre-monotheistic world religions?

Yes.

OP, this Pagan thinks the Christian perspective is paranoia fueled. :-)

I really wouldn't be Christian and talk negatively about paganism since they took a lot things from it. They even turned some gods into saints to win over the people.

Even though when I am shooting at monsters and running for my life, I would never say to someone that I feel 197%, but that is just me.
