If Obama were reelected, what would be your opinion.

For example, my opinion: "Oh no, not again."

It depends on who the alternative is. If he seems worse than Obama, I will simply maintain my current stance of "Obama is pretty lame & dishonest". If he appears to be far superior in policy, I will lament the continued inefficacy of people's judgement

My reaction would probably be one of disappointment. I wouldn't be surprised if he was re-elected though.

I thought Cynthia McKinney was a great alternative.

Well unless Ron Paul is his opponent, I probably wont care much at all. Honestly, Obama with GOP control of the House and Senate in his 2nd term(all but assured btw) would probably be preferable to someone like Romney or Gingrich or whatever neocon winning and being able to do whatever they want. Rand Paul in 2016 with no incumbent would seem like a slam dunk. I just hope it's not too late by then.

He's a real person. Junior Senator from Kentucky, son of Ron Paul, and no; he's not named after Ayn Rand.

I'm sure it didn't hurt.

/I've heard their story about naming Rand...I'm sure in part of Paul's mind, it was a dedication to Ayn

Regardless of who gets elected, I'll say that Orwell is right that democracy is crap.

I'd declare victory and go home, even though there is no way I'd ever vote for him.

I actually wouldn't be surprised either, though I'm thinking it would be due to massive voter fraud as the undead show up at the polling places to vote.

Why is it that Americans (of both political stripes) seem utterly incapable of accepting the verdict of the ballot box? If it's not the Democrats complaining of hanging chads and corporate conspiracies to reprogram voting machines, it's the right raising phantom arguments of "massive" voter fraud.

At least the Democrats squawk in places where the margin of victory is smaller than the the offences of which they complain.

But unless you can show me the undead voting in numbers greater than the margin of victory within a given state, I'm going to continue to dismiss your allegations as frivolous and vexatious.

If you ever lived in Chicago, Illinois you would know that massive voter fraud actually exists. Why do you think they have the motto: "Vote early, vote often."

Places like Gary, Indiana; Chicago, Illinois; etc. are well known for funny stuff at the ballot box.

Yeah like trying to get the military absentee ballots tossed out, and trying to use incredibly creative recounting methods.

Chicago, Illinois; heck Illinois in general is very well known for voter fraud. It is also arguably how JFK beat Nixon, fraudulent votes in Illinois and Texas.

Look at the Contraversy around the 1960 election.
