Conservatives are 9% more likely to prefer vertically cut sandwiches over diagonal. I knew it.

I like my subways cut in half, but I would just as soon have my BLTs (no pork) whole.

I never bother cutting my sandwiches, and I don't really buy into dualistic categorizations.

It is still a bit early in the morning for my mind to be taxed very heavily, but I do leave even my Subways uncut when I have both hands free for handling them.

I do not cut my sandwiches unless on bread wider than 10 inches asnd then only if I have to pack my lunch.

Where and how did they pick their conservatives? I have known only one family that except under compulsion considered a slice of meatloaf [yes, ONE slice of mealoaf] and mashed potatoes a meal.

I think if this was a genuine poll it needs to be redone. I want info on the demographics of the sample.

NOT unexpectedly, my eating preferences are nowhere near either the "liberal" nor the "conservative" sides of this poorly presented report.

Do you use a ruler and a straightedge or just guess at size and then slice away?

Do I LOOK like Felix Unger?

Wide Italian bread is not uniform in profile - I aim for about equal area compatible with fitting in the package.

I cut, do not tear [the top and bottom slices almost never tear parallel].

Interesting.
In general, I eat like a conservative and think like a liberal. With a few exceptions in both cases.

Liberal Pinko Stinko Leftish Commies prefer brie and brioche too.

i consider myself a bit of a "foodie-on-a-budget" and the liberal menu is far appetizing. It would be nicer if they got a larger or equal sampling of conservatives.

It doesn't sound like there was a proportionate enough conservative representation and poor black liberal representation in that poll to be very accurate. While there's probably a kernel of truth to the description of the conservative's diets. It looks like they got their information about liberal dietary habits from a more affluent group of liberals that talk big about social issues but live a "let them eat cake" lifestyle. If there was some mention of cocoa puffs, grape drink, and catfish and collard greens, then I'd think that the survey was more balanced.

Yes, and some of us still like corn on the cob, watermelon and pickin' berries off the neighbor's fence while their geese try to drive you away.

@blauSamstag: turkey bacon, so maybe that is a TBLT

No man that can honestly say he's a man would eat quiche.
I don't even feel quite right spelling it correctly.
