Time to pit the Theists against the Atheists against the Crackpots against the Kooks.

Let us generate testable falsifiable predictions. Use psychic powers, statistics, computer models, tarot, the I Ching, Kabbalah, coded lore in Isaiah, or your Magic 8 Ball.

I predict - this thread will not go ten posts and will die within the week.

This can be taken as flame bait, which would make it a self fulfilling prophesy once someone falls for it :P.

My prophecy was 10 posts and then locked.

My prophecy remains 10 posts and then locked, unless my followers send me enough money, then I may be merciful.

"Prophet" Harold Camping gave Christianity a black eye. He tried to piece together all kinds of small cryptic "clues" in the Bible to predict the rapture when it says in plain text that no one knows when it will happen and that it will be sudden.

A critique of some one else's prediction does not count.

I have cast the runes and they say my original prediction based on statistics will have failed before the day is out.

Phil! Shame on you! You caused my prophecy to go unfulphilled!

Okay, I can explain it. I was reading from Ezekiel rather than Isaiah.

Read Isaiah 52:7

Quote:
How wonderful it is to see
a messenger coming across the mountains,
bringing good news, the news of peace!
He announces victory and says to Zion,
"Your God is King!"

This passage contains 30 words, which signifies that this thread will be locked on the thirtieth reply.

Nah, it'll never go that far.

DID YOIU COUNT HOW MANY WORDS [or letters] IT TAKES IN HEBREW?

DID YOU COMPUTE THE NUMERIC VALUE OF THOSE LETTERS?

I predict it will turn out that you did not.

The 15th post topic

It is still here. (Goes off on tangent.)

We need an Atheists' Voters List here at WP.
