Actually, that old crook is saying that the time of judgement has begun, just without all the fire and earthquakes. The actual rapture, he now says, will take place in October.
By the way, you don't have to be an atheist to ridicule end time horses**t like this.

That is not what he predicted. He predicted The End in October. But soft! It won't happen in October either. He is an old fraud and he will soon be exposed with no excuses to make.

You do know, don't you, folks, that there are those claim the rapture [not the sensation of the books, but the real thing] happened like a few hundred years ago?

I never quite took the trouble to figure out the details, but something like that.

I think it was supposed to be in the 18th century somewhere.
