I'll start with Ron Paul

I endorse Ron Paul for the Republican nomination, because he is the most honest, straightforward, and intellectually stimulating of the lot.
The other candidates candidates are either dumb themselves, or seeking to dumb-down their messages in order to appeal to mainstream Republican voters.
For example, "Duh, I used to be in favor of the individual mandate for health insurance, but now I am against, because the Democrats passed it, and Fox Noise and Hate Radio are against it, and, duh, I want to be elected." The other chuckleheads really can't come up with anything deeper than that, to address one of the most important issues of our generation.
Then, Rick Perry, with his "I may look like a homosexual, and I may be a homosexual, but I really do hate homosexuals, because homosexuals have ruined Christmas." Yes, he presents himself as an ignorant self-loathing homosexual. Nothing deeper than that.
And Mrs. Bachmann--gad, what an absolutely apalling dingbat!
Herman Cain took in a lot of Republican voters, with his "Nein! Nein! Nein!" nonsense and his "joke" about electrocuting Mexicans. But, Republicans finally turned against him when he admitted to having violated the Mann Act.
Gingrich appeals to a lot of Republican voters because of his ridiculous and incendiary comments about Palestinians, and his plans to arrest and imprison judges.
I may not agree with everything for which Ron Paul stands, but at least he is willing to stand for something, and that is a lot more than what any of the other candidates are willing to do.
As for foreign affairs, even if you disagree with him, you can at least give him credit for being original, and not simply parroting the current paradigms. The other candidates are competing against each other to demonstrate how thoroughly they can suck up to Benjamin Netanyahu or how deeply they hate Iran. America, however, is no longer in a position to be the world's nanny, and I agree with Ron Paul that the USA needs to stop pretending to be the world's superpower.
I endorse Ron Paul for the Republican nomination, because he is honest, forthright, and intelligent (at least in comparison to the rest of the field), and isn't necessarily seeking to play to the whims of the average ignorant Republican voter.
Okay, pick a candidate and write an endorsement. Or, it doesn't have to be an endorsement--write a heartfelt condemnation. Or, write a critique of my Ron Paul endorsement, or an endorsement of my endorsement.
I endorse Mitt Romney. Although Romney is obviously a dyed-in-the-wool "professional politician," he is a well polished one. I see him as a level-headed and essentially decent man. Although I do not appreciate him participating in using gay people as a political football, I am actually glad that I can take this and a number of his political positions with a grain of salt. He is a man who dances for his audience and tries to do it well, and I honestly don't think he would mess up the presidency too badly if he were to attain it.

And you know the funniest part about their sucking up to Netanyahu? He actually agrees that Israel does not need our money or our troops to defend itself! Ron actually believes in Israel's sovereignty and that we should stay out of their business. We shouldn't be dictating the terms for peace to them, that's the Israelis and Palestinians business. In the early 1980's, Ron Paul was one of the few members of congress not to condemn Israel for bombing Iraq's nuclear facilities.(Saddam was our buddy at the time)
