Can't MSNBC just take more honest tactics like hacking phones of conservatives to find juicy stuff to bash?

The left has done phone hacking before, see Newt Gingrich.

It's funny, since Contessa Brewer is an idiot and is essentially got on national TV by being eye candy.(not that Fox News hasn't got plenty of those) She was just reading what was on the teleprompter. I don't think it was so much of a trap as just poor research on MSNBC's part. A degree in economics is pretty useless for the most part anyways, since most just teach that Keynesian garbage.

When I studied economics, they avoided Keynesianism all together.

Graduate level classes in economics end up being applied calculus classes.

You keep saying stuff that makes me believe that you are a low-talent troll.

The lady interviewer asked "Are you an economist?" The man answered: "Yes, Highest honors".

She tried pulling an argumentum ad verecundium on him and it failed.

So, the trap was "Are you an economist?".

Wow.

So I says to myself says I, Go ahead, self, take a peek.

Sure, the thread head looks basically uninteresting - NOT my type topic.

But hey, we are in a slump with dull dinosaur threads and uninviting threads likelt to be full of takataka.

No new intriguing topics - take a look.

And there it is - opening up with a video.

Well, I came, I peeked, I was conquered.

Maybe I should of prefaced that last statement by saying no offense to anybody with a degree in economics.

Low talent thp? I would at least think I'm average, maybe I give myself too much credit.

I'm sure Contessa is a very smart lady as well and would be where she is today if she weren't also pretty.

The chicago school of economics is far more prevalent these days than keyneseian economics, from what i can tell.

Even the keynesians aren't really true keynesians anymore.

So it was an obvious troll.

Actually, I'll agree with you on the second part. A lot of the politicians that use the Keynesian argument seem to use it more of an excuse to increase spending or not make any spending cuts rather any understanding of it.

*shrug* I figure there's some value in suggesting that we not do what made things worse back in the day.
