This is funny.

So, there's a site on facebook in which Christians are "mocked" by having cartoon characters said "I don't like gay marriage because the bible says so". And stuff.

But the MOST OUTRAGEOUS THING about it is that it features two kids kissing. Of course, if they were heterosexual kids , no one would be offended, they would think it is cute. But since they are homosexual kids, the site is very bad taste and all.

Oh well, maybe it is bad taste in general to have children kissing. But to jump and say that this site is somehow a proof.

So, the video's makers just want to get married. Maybe their methods are distateful. But if you compare it with the bigoted homophones that want to make these people unable to get married. I think the real insult of this all is that this guy believes that this video somehow makes all his own bigotry ok.

Bachmann is one of those bigoted homophobes, and that's why I made those remarks in the other thread.

I just love those christians who think everyone should accept that they think homosexuality is evil and be perfectly ok with christians spouting off a bunch of ignorant crap about it....but if anyone wants to mock them for being biggots they get all defensive....like everyone who disagrees with them is persecuting them.

i can relate to the feeling that some theists expect everyone around them to accomodate to their ideas.

I think that, while it can be natural for children to kiss each other, it should not be videotaped and displayed on the internet.

It is because the prevailing belief amongst many christians is that they(Gays) were perverted into homosexuality - that it is a "perverted" choice by one who choses to be perverted. It makes sense - if you believe that there is an all-powerful God who did not want homosexuality allowed amongst the Jews he dwelled with, and if you believe that human sexuality is fixed, then the Gay is going against the nature that God has given and knowingly engaging in perversion - one that got ancient israelites stoned.

That is why they foam at the mouth in vitriol hatred to witness a gay couple embrace and lock lips or to see a bunch of happy people at a gay pride parade as if they are joyfully swimming in sin. It is to them a straight up attack on God and the correct order of things. The immediate impulse is to de-gay the gay if they are young, much of that responsibility is outsourced to meaningless prayers fighting the gay demon and go unanswered... all the while thinking that the older the gay gets, and the more they get comfortable with their perversion, the less - or so it is believed - that you can do about it.

The idiocy that combats the above is that we should allow Gay marriage and that the human being is fixed as in either your born straight or born gay. Either way... that is what pisses off Christians who get pissed off at two heterosexual kids kissing each other: It is perversing two innocent boys who shouldn't/wouldn't/couldn't be gay but for the perverted parents that allow them to remain perverted and the evil sponsors( FK*H8 ) who encourage their perversion and take advantage of it to advance a cause - You can tell this by their isolating the Gayness from the "children" or tween/young-teens featured in the film, as if one could not be naturally gay.

It is all built on the false premise that the human being(collectively) has a fixed sexuality.

Not really, no. They were targeted with ridicule, and they didn't like it.

That is a bit disturbing. But it doesn't appear to be the only offensive thing in the video.


The guy wouldn't see this as 'making bigotry ok', since he (almost certainly) thinks he has a very reasonable opinion.

What he said was he thought it showed the true colors of his opponents.

Finally found the video. It is actually hilarious to watch it after reading the article, I thought it would summon Satan , but nope. BTW, no reason to censor the actual site name fckh8.com.

So, at the end the kids (actually early teens) don't really kiss, they just put their heads close and the kiss sound effect is played so that it is implied they kissed.

The video itself is as fun as a political video can get (not a lot) it does use the power of the straw man to make some valid questions:

* If gay marriage goes against the lord's will for being unnatural, why don't we ban breast implants?

* Why use the bible to make laws, it does say that you can sell your daughter for slavery, among other very embarrassing laws. The same paragraph in Leviticus against homosexuals is also pretty harsh on tatoos.

* If marriage is meant to have children, why don't we ban people too old to have children from getting married?

* How does banning homosexual marriage actually protect heterosexual families?

* If people choose to be homosexual, then it means you chose to be straight. Hmnn, the implications!
