What really differentiates Ordoliberalism from social liberalism, aside from the rationale for ordoliberal market intervention being more about pareto-efficiency than distributive justice.

The libertarian variety. We each exist for our own sake and no one pushes anyone else around

That would be a stronger version of classical liberalism then.

What is the imperative for "enforcing" pareto efficiency. It is like forming a dictatorship to get rid of motors that are less than 30 percent efficient.

It would be a dictatorship, except that our elected legislators who represent our interests make such decisions by majority vote. But I know you know that. I just don't buy into the notion that everything handed down by the government is somehow dictatorial.
