Do the Politicians get richer off of higher taxes in other words do the Rich/Wealthy Politicians get paid from our taxes do the Politicians use taxes to pay themselves ?

Basically yes, they use the increased revenue for their pet projects and spend like they are a bunch of heroin addicts trying to get high.
