The irony.

Saw this on another forum. My conclusion is that it's a land grab by developers. The properties in question are next to the sprawl of Lancaster and Palmdale. The developers want those properties for future development, so they got the county to force people off. The fact that there won't be another land bubble seems to be irrelevant.
